Volunteer with April
Re-electing April takes a team. Here’s how Ward 7 neighbors can help win November 2026.
April’s first campaign was built by Ward 7 neighbors who knocked on doors, signed petitions, and showed up. Her re-election will be won the same way — here’s how you can help.
Phone Bank
Reach Ward 7 voters across Hayward, San Leandro, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, Cherryland, and Fairview. Training provided. Weekly sessions start in summer 2026.
Lit Drops and Door-Knocking
Get the campaign literature into voters’ hands. Flexible hours, work your own neighborhood or team up with friends.
Event Support
Help at community events, rallies, and fundraisers. Set-up, greeting, logistics — we need all of it.
Sign Up for a Yard Sign
Yard signs available starting fall 2026. Sign up and we’ll deliver.
Host a House Meeting
Gather 10–15 neighbors for an informal meeting with April or a campaign surrogate. We’ll bring the materials.
Skills-Based Volunteering
Graphic design, data entry, writing, photography, videography, and translation — English, Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Korean, Tagalog, or Vietnamese. We can use your help.
